The Jensen Family Legacy
FYI, this story will unfortunately remain unfinished because I no longer play The Sims 3 (due to horrible lag in only my second generation). My Sims 4 legacy story can be found here.
New? Start Here. "Even after all these years I still love you as much as I did the day we married," whispered Kyle to Lexie in the bathroom. Lexie suggested they have some alone time in the shower together before the girls woke up. I'm honestly not sure why they tend to get romantic in the bathroom. Maybe it's nostalgia for their first time together. Just as they were finishing up, they heard the girls grab breakfast from the fridge. They were all excited for Spooky Day. (If you can't tell, Halloween is my favorite holiday). Here Minnie is again, playing in the sand despite the chilly weather. Honestly it gets annoying constantly finding them outside and bringing them back inside only to change their clothes and leave a laundry pile on the floor. Meanwhile, Emily hosted a lovely tea party with the spooky bears. She's already practicing to be a good hostess. Later that morning, Minnie went fishing and caught her first fish! She is an Angler so I thought it was only fair to let her roam free at the coastline for a day. Emily continues to progress quickly in the painting skill. I was pretty impressed with this one. She's a bit of a protege. Sandra went to the junk yard to gather scrap. Kyle bought her a workbench and she can't wait to try it out. Even in the rain, Minnie refused to stop fishing. Notice the weirdo in the background? He just stood there all creepy-like for an hour. Why are you wading in the ocean, in the rain, with an umbrella, in shark infested waters? Kyle's been focusing on his physique now that he's mastered the guitar and piano. He has to keep up his looks for his career. And Lexie is devoting a lot of free time to learning all the new recipes she can get her hands on. She's maxed the cooking skill and is going to be the family cook until she passes away. Christina mainly plays all day. It is really annoying how much they "hold royal court" only because they change outfits and leave clothes on the floor (we have a theme going). Plus the hairdo looks horrible. Sandra was so eager to try out her workbench that she didn't even take off her outerwear before getting to work inventing things. I found Lexie in the bathroom hurling. This is what happens when you use the woohooer mod and replace the woohoo with risky woohoo. They were done having kids, or so they thought. The family went to the festival again because everyone had had so much fun the day before and it was Spooky Day after all. This is what the girls ate for dinner. Christina and Minnie look quite shocked about the fact that they were covered in pie. So funny! Sandra won but was humble about it. And of course Kyle ran straight to the face-painting booth and embarrassed his daughters with his weirdness. I swear, if I don't watch him every minute at a festival he always gets his face painted. All Lexie is going to eat for the next 3 days is apples. They HAVE to have a boy this time. Hopefully it's not another set of twins! And at the end of a fun-filled afternoon, I realized the festival has no toilets. Poor Christina was embarrassed for days! That will teach her to go to a haunted house when she has to pee. Spooky day came and went... some lovely children ruined their pumpkins. I also learned (after the fact) that your Sims cannot trick or treat with home-opener installed, unless it's disabled. So, no trick or treating this year. :-(
